Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that machines are set up correctly, operating smoothly, and producing high-quality products. This is a hands-on position that requires technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
– Lead, mentor, train, support and hold accountable your machine crew.
– Set up machines according to specifications and instructions.
– Perform quality control checks throughout the production run to ensure standards are met.
– Postproduction identifying of any tooling requiring maintenance.
– Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
– Adhere to production schedule. Make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, and service goals. Report any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.
Requirements:
– Two years Machine Operator experience on Rotary Diecutter with five years total Corrugated Plant experience.
– Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
– Possess Computer Skills for Production Data Entry (PDE). Machine Operation Status, Safety Data, Quality Data, and Maintenance Workorders.
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
– Understand the mechanical aspects of your machine to be proactive in equipment maintenance.
– Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $21.00 – $27.00 per hour
